Explore early Christian writings that didn't become part of the Bible—but influenced the faith, thought, and spiritual life of early believers.

What are the “other” Gospels?

Early Christians read, shared, and discussed many writings about Jesus, faith, and the life of the Christian community. Some became part of the New Testament. Others did not.

In this six-week study, we'll explore several of those early writings and ask what they can tell us about the beliefs, questions, and conversations of the earliest Christians.

What to Expect

Each Wednesday evening begins with a simple soup supper, followed by study and conversation. You don't need prior Bible knowledge or experience with these writings—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Children are welcome and will have their own supervised program while adults meet.

This study is open to the entire community. You do not need to be a member of St. Gregory's—or of any church—to participate.

When you register, you’ll be able to let us know whether you would like us to provide a study book and whether children will be participating in the children’s program.
